Isabel is a Sydney-based sculptor who works primarily in stone, as well as metal finishes. She has exhibited in galleries such as Gallery 41, TAP Gallery and Gallery 307 and was selected to exhibit in the Inaugural Hornsby Art Prize Exhibition, 2009.
Isabel uses natural stones; serpentine and soapstone, sandstone, slate, limestone and granite. In addition she uses industrial materials and metal finishes.
Isabel is passionate about blurring the distinction between what defines ‘inside’ and ‘outside’ art and often designs pieces intended to rust naturally within a natural outdoor environment.
Her passion remains the human figure in all of its beautiful forms, with a particular penchant for fuller-figured female nudes.
